  • Registration for IFLA Pre-Conference in Cape Town has been extended to 15 June 2007.
    There are only three flights from Cape Town to Durban on 18 August 2007, register and book your flights now to finalize logistical arrangements.
  • The dates for IFLA Pre-conference at Parliament in Cape Town were adjusted as follows: 15th -17th August 2007.
    The first letter of invitation to the pre-conference showed a typing error and the dates 16th – 18 August 2007 are incorrect.
    The trip to Robben Island will take place on 17th August and delegates will fly to Durban on 18th August 2007.

  • Guidelines For Abstracts:

    • Proposals for presentations and/or abstracts for papers should be submitted by no later than 30 June 2007
    • Abstracts should be submitted via email to:

    • Abstracts must be written in English and should not exceed 150 words.
    • Registration to this Pre-Conference is free.

    • Papers will be used as handouts to participants and therefore English is the preferred language.
    • Submissions should include the abstract and brief bio of authors/presenters.
    • Delivery: submission of a presentation is preferred.
